Roster Limits & Team Size

Get answers to how big your team can be

Each sport and league has a roster maximum. This is how many players are a normal team size for that league and that sport. How this limit is handled differently depending on how your team is being paid for...

IF PAID AS PART OF A TEAM

One person (the captain) can sign up a team and invite players to join. These players must sign up and pay the registration fee by the registration deadline. If a team does not have the minimum roster size (including the correct gender ratio) by this deadline date then FREE AGENTS may be added to the team. After these free agents are added additional players can only be added should space allow. If there are no free agents to add a determination may be made to cancel the team due to lack of players and refunds given

IF PAID INDIVUDALLY AS FREE AGENT

Individuals or small groups joining without a team will be considered FREE AGENTS. These free agents will either be placed on exisiting teams that need players or, should there be enough, a new team made up of all free agents could be formed. These formed teams will not have more than the suggested roster size unless there are special circumstances or the team, as a whole, requests it. Placement emails for free agents will go out 2-4 days prior to the start of the league.
